The moment visual work inspired music and music shaped visual art.
Visual work inspired music. Music sparked visual storytelling. Ideas moved freely between mediums — and something new began to emerge.
This natural convergence formed the foundation of Suma & Lathesh as a creative practice. From it emerged Tusara Varna — the visual art language of the studio — while music, cinematic visuals, and storytelling projects expanded the creative landscape further.
The Foundation
Webonautics — co-founded in 2000 — became the professional foundation of the shared journey. A creative and digital studio where the work, the thinking, and the discipline began to take shape together.
Both pursued formal education in Interactive Multimedia at the University of Technology Sydney — giving the practice a shared technical and creative language from which everything else grew.

The creative partnership between Suma and Lathesh grew gradually — across years of working independently through visual art, photography, digital design, music, and storytelling.
What started as separate creative lives slowly began to converge. Not through a single decision, but through the quiet logic of shared curiosity and a growing recognition that the most interesting work was happening at the borders between disciplines.

From this convergence emerged five distinct creative worlds — each exploring a different dimension of the shared practice. Tusara Varna in visual art. AIFS and Mandara Dreams in music. Creative Fusion Studio in cinematic visuals. Motley Lens in fiction. Aum Svaha in sacred expression.
