Tusara Varna by Suma & Lathesh

What is Tusara Varna

Colour that arrives before you see it.

Tushāra: dew. Varṇa: colour.

Tusara Varna is the visual art world of Suma & Lathesh — with its own visual language, philosophy, and identity.

The name comes from two Sanskrit words — Tuṣāra, meaning dew or frost, and Varṇa, meaning colour or expression. Together they suggest colour that appears gently — like a quiet shimmer of light on water.

Through Tusara Varna we create artworks shaped by atmosphere, abstraction, symbolism, and imagination. Each piece is made to influence how a space feels— not just how it looks.

Tuṣāra:

Dew, frost — the quiet moisture that appears before light fully arrives.

Varṇa:

Colour, expression — the mark that feeling leaves on form

"Art that enters the room before you look at it."

Tusara Varna Art Directions

Six visual worlds.
Six ways to change a room.

01

Tusara Signatures

Six subsets:
· Abstract · Floral · Human · Architecture · Surreal · Natural Forms

The defining visual language of the practice — six distinct subsets, each exploring a different dimension of form, feeling, and atmosphere.

02

Sacred Presence

Devotion made visible

Artworks drawn from spiritual symbolism and divine energy — for spaces where the sacred needs a visual anchor.

03

Atmospheric & Abstract

Cinematic landscape · Sculptural relief

Where a panoramic world and physical artwork exist in one frame — bringing an entire atmosphere into a room.

04

Timeless Realms

Fantasy · Mythology · Symbolic worlds

Cinematic works drawn from mythology, imagination, and the timeless language of archetypes.

05

Essence Series

Words. Truth. Form.

A single word rendered as a living object — the word becomes what it means. Each piece is a philosophical statement made visible.

06

Open Expressions

Form unchained · Atmosphere unbound

Ideas that evolve freely — without a fixed theme or category. The most experimental, the most alive work in the studio.

Art Within Interior Spaces

Art that belongs in a space.
Not art that sits in front of it.

Creating living visual spaces.

The most powerful artwork in a room is the one that feels like it was always meant to be there.

Our artworks are created to live naturally within a space — working with its architecture, light, and atmosphere rather than competing with them. Sometimes a single work becomes the room's visual anchor. In other spaces, a series carries the atmosphere across every wall.

Either way, the aim is the same: art that completes a space, not merely occupies it.

Signature Piece

A large artwork that becomes the visual anchor — the thing the room turns around.

Supporting Series

A group of works extending mood and atmosphere across a room without repeating.

Visual Panels

Connected works creating rhythm and visual continuity across a space.

Thematic Works

Artworks unified by a shared idea — bringing harmony and character to an environment.

Custom Art for Your Space

An artwork made for your space alone.

Bespoke Tusara Varna Creations.

Alongside the themes explored within Tusara Varna, we create bespoke artworks developed around your specific space, colours, and atmosphere.

These commissions begin with a conversation — understanding the room, its light, its mood, and the feeling you want it to hold. The artwork that emerges could not exist anywhere else.

01

The Conversation

We begin by listening — to the space, its light, its colours, and the atmosphere you want to create.

02

The Direction

We develop the visual direction together — theme, scale, tone, and how the artwork will live in the space.

03

The Creation

The artwork is created to belong in your space. Not placed within it — made for it.

Tusara Varna
