The STORY
Vṛtra — When Gods Lost immerses viewers in the cosmic crisis where rivers dried, skies darkened, and silence fell over the realms as the primordial serpent-demon Vṛtra awakened. With even the celestial deities helpless before Vṛtra’s suffocating grip on earth’s waters, the gods sought sanctuary in Amravati, realizing that no ordinary weapon could pierce the dragon’s curse.
The tide turns through the supreme sacrifice of Maharishi Dadhichi, who willingly gave his sacred bones in an sacrificial fire to forge the invincible Vajra (lightning bolt). Armed with righteousness and mounted upon Airavata, Indra charges into battle among the thunderous clouds. Shattering the cosmic serpent and releasing the trapped waters back to the earth, this sacred visual film celebrates the ultimate victory of Dharma, self-sacrifice, and eternal renewal.
