The STORY
The second episode of Puranon Se! explores the myth of Tripura, created when Tarakasura’s three sons—Tarakaksha, Kamalaksha, and Vidyunmali—undertook supreme penance to gain three fortress cities made of gold, silver, and iron. Floating across the skies, oceans, and earth, these impregnable strongholds could only be destroyed if aligned in a perfect straight line and struck by a single arrow.
As the tyranny of the three demon kings threatened the heavens, the Devas turned to Mahadeva for intervention. The entire cosmos united to form Shiva’s chariot—with Earth as the frame, Sun and Moon as the wheels, Brahma as the charioteer, and Vishnu as the divine arrow. Waiting for the precise moment when the three wandering cities converged into one line, Tripurantaka loosed the solitary arrow of cosmic fire, incinerating the pride of Tripura and proving that absolute truth ultimately restores order when arrogance overflows.
